In 1983 a small group of people from different churches in the Princes Risborough area met together with a common desire to experience the ‘more’ of God,having a hunger forboth the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

At around the same time God laid a burden for Princes Risborough on the heart of the leadership of the ElimChurch in Lane End, High Wycombe. As a prayerful response to this burden, the LaneEndChurch leadership decided to hold small church services on Sunday evenings in Princes Risborough. The prayer group in the town were called by God to attend these services and to establish a house group meeting during the week.Pastor Ian Gardner of the Elim church in Bierton, Aylesbury began to oversee the house group meetings and over time a desire was birthed to become a church in Princes Risborough. From these ‘small beginnings’ the fellowship was pioneered.Risborough Christian Fellowship (as it was known then) was founded in March 1984 and became part of the ElimPentecostalChurch movement. It is with great joy that we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fellowship in 2009.

Elim has over 600 congregations throughout the towns and cities in the UK as well as churches in forty countries around the world. With a heart to reach up to God in worship and out to the world in service, Elim has a goal to 'build bigger people' who are resourced and equipped to take the full gospel out into the world.

Pastor Geoff Blease and his wife Jane came to the church in 2000.In 2001 we changed our name to Chilterns Christian Fellowship as God increased our vision for the

Chilterns and beyond. We look forward with faith and great expectation as God leads us on into our destiny as a church "in” the heart "of”, and with a heart "for”, the Chilterns.

CCF is very active in the local community and has spearheaded much of the youth work in the town. For more information on the various ministries please browse the website.

Worship is expressed in many and varied ways and is a vitally important aspect of the Christian faith.. One of our "Core Values” at CCF is "Inspiring Worship” and this is an integral part of our meetings together. To that end we have a modern worship team who continually seek to facilitate the awesome presence of God through music. Each member of the team is encouraged to grow in their own relationship with Jesus and to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit, whilst at the same time seeking to develop their musical skills in a very practical way.

Our aim is to introduce children to Jesus and to encourage them to know Him as their personal saviour and friend.Through the lively teaching of God’s word, we help our children to know God’s unconditional love and to recognise Him at work in their daily lives. Together we learn to pray, listen to God’s voice and use our gifts to reach out to others in love.Children are the church of today and our desire is for every child to realise their full potential in God.

For the Under 11s

Children’s ministry takes place every Sunday morning, except for the last week of every month when we have a family service. The children leave for their group at the end of worship and return to their parents at the end of the service.

Crèche

We offer a crèche for the younger children each week, except for our family service.

We host midweek cell groups, in different locations across the area, which help to build meaningful and supportive relationships in an informal atmosphere.Effective small groups are core to our vision to reach out to people with the love of God and we continue to look for opportunities to plant new cells within the area as the church expands and grows. All the cells meet around a set of cell group values with Jesus at the centre. If you would like to join one of our cell groups or would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact our church office.
