“Delving into Dung” is a talk by Sally-Ann Spence on dung beetles and their relationship to soil, pasture, and livestock health.

Often overlooked and undervalued, dung beetles are key ecosystem engineers and offer huge benefits in the agricultural landscape.

Sally-Ann is a livestock farmer, as well as an expert entomologist, and is well-placed to lead various collaborative projects taking dung beetle research and conservation advice directly into the farming community. This work will be explored within the talk, which should be of considerable interest to farmers and land managers, as well as to the general public.
