Starting by crossing the lovely Tring Park we will ascend to the escarpment with its extensive views. There are points of historical interest including connections with Charles II and the Rothschilds. Continuing on through woods and fields to the Iron Age hillfort at Cholesbury Camp returning via Wigginton to again cross the park.

Additional information

Bring packed lunch and drinks. A walk on public footpaths and good tracks with some road sections.

There are no public toilets on the route.
