We will walk through woodland into an area where there are several clusters of magnificent sweet chestnut trees. The nuts can be baked, roasted, boiled or microwaved. Once cooked and peeled they can be eaten as they are or used in desserts and stuffing. Delicious.

Please bring gardening or other sturdy gloves as they are very prickly to handle and a small bag to carry them home. The walk is under 4k.
