Join a local botanist for a gentle walk around the lanes and fields of Old Amersham.
• Discover the plants that grow on your doorstep
• Learn about the geography and history of your local landscape
• Find out how our use of the land has changed over the years
• Enjoy views over Old Amersham
This is the first of 3 walks in a series, taking place in spring, summer and autumn, and jointly organised by Amersham Museum and Wild Amersham. Each walk follows the same route, helping us to notice the seasonal changes as we progress through the year.
Additional information
Amersham Museum is open from 12noon to 4.30pm (additional charge). There are plenty of cafes and pubs in Old Amersham for refreshments.
