A circular walk through meadows alongside a chalk winterbourne stream and up to the wildflower chalk slopes of the hills. Passing through the river valley you will see how the Hamble Brook is being restored and possibly see some river fly monitoring in action.

A highlight will be meeting the Dexter cows and their calves and hearing why they are so important to Colstrope Farm and in managing the Chilterns landscape. An old orchard with ancient apple varieties, wildflower meadows, hedges and trees are all providing wonderful wildlife habitat and will provide plenty to enjoy on the walk.

Very family friendly – children’s activity, suitable for robust buggies and all terrain wheelchairs.
