The walking route begins at the Cock Inn Pub in Sarratt. Walking past the picturesque church and alms houses at Sarratt, before a steep decent to join the Chess Valley Walk. Highlights along the walk include passing the historic site of Sarratt Mill, woodland wanderings though Mount Wood, followed by the river crossing on the newly restored bridge.
Re-joining the Chess Valley Walk past the Crystal Watercress Beds and stopping on route to look at other heritage features within the Chess Landscape. Finally a steep climb will see us returning to the Cock Inn, libations recommended.

Water recommended and weather appropriate footwear and clothing. Suitable for enthusiastic young adults.
