Join us to find out more about Luton’s hidden green spaces, help to boost your sense of wellbeing and meet new people.

The aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep, at the heart of Luton.
The walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers.

All ages welcome!

Join us for a walk at Stopsley Common and Hay Wood.

We’ll meet at 2pm just outside the main entrance of Inspire, before setting off on a gentle circular walk to explore the signs of spring along the way. Our route will take us across Stopsley Common, into the ancient woodland of Hay Wood where we hope to spot bluebells, and on to the far end of the Common near Bradgers Hill. We’ll then turn back and finish the walk for 3.30pm.

If using What Three Words website or App then please use the following location ///safely.quarrel.cape for the meeting point.

There is a car park outside Inspire: Luton Sports Village where you can park free of charge for first 4 hours.

Please dress for the outdoors, including suitable footwear for soft paths.

The accessibility at Stopsley Common can be limited due to uneven/muddy paths and some steep slopes along the way. Please get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk.

For any enquiries please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org

*Please note, this is a free wellbeing walk. Only reserve a place if you intend on joining the walk as these walks are very popular and there are limited spaces available. If you are unable to attend the walk after booking, please do cancel your ticket to give other people a chance to reserve a space.

** If you wish to make a block booking for more than 4 individuals for the upcoming walk, please contact Ieva.
