Breaking barriers: film set in Chilterns wins multiple awards!
A film showcasing Dadima’s intergenerational walking group has won four prestigious awards.
The film, commissioned by the Chilterns National Landscape in partnership with Dadima’s CIC and film-maker Nicola Schafer, explores the reasons why people from different cultural backgrounds can find it difficult to access the countryside. It shows how Dadima’s Community Walks are helping break down barriers and making walking more inclusive.
Set in the beautiful Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve in Oxfordshire, the film features stunning drone photography and inspirational interviews with Dadima’s walkers. The film has won three Awards of Merit (Asian Theme, Short Documentary and Soundtrack) at the IndieFEST Film Awards and the Audience Award at the TMFF festival.
