We are delighted to announce two 12-month traineeships at Chiltern Rangers as part of the Chalk, Cherries & Chairs Project with the Chilterns Conservation Board, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

If you are looking to kick off your career in conservation, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for. Join the Chiltern Rangers team to learn what it means to be a Ranger and gain experience of conservation tasks throughout the seasons.  Our ideal candidates will be:

  • Enthusiastic about wildlife, the Chilterns countryside and your local community
  • Eager to communicate and a willingness to inspire and engage with others
  • Passionate about working with your community and getting more people outdoors to benefit wildlife and themselves
  • Hard working and flexible – this is an outdoor physical job in all seasons and weathers.

If this sounds like you, please visit the Chiltern Rangers website for further information and to apply.
