Virtual tours and more
Improvements in technology are making access to the countryside even easier for those with limited mobility, neurodiversity or other access needs.
We’re working with partners to use these new technologies to provide virtual tours and other digital experiences, helping people to “visit” the Chilterns without needing to leave home, or to plan their trips in advance.
Grim's Ditch virtual tour
Grim’s Ditch is Buckinghamshire’s longest and largest heritage asset, but much of its history still remains a mystery.
Our interactive 360 degree virtual tour allows anyone to explore the monument and its surrounding landscape from anywhere. You can follow a walking trail or explore freely through panoramic views, with information boxes highlighting features of the landscape, flora, fauna and history. Accessibility features include narration, BSL translation, a static text version, and options for colour and text size.
