The Saxons - Bucks' Medieval Past Exhibition

The SAXONS explores Buckinghamshire’s early medieval past through three significant burial sites: the high-status Taplow burial, the Marlow military burial and the Wendover Saxon Cemetery, where 141 graves were uncovered during HS2 archaeological works. The exhibition brings together archaeological evidence, real artefacts, immersive interpretation and digital storytelling to explore Saxon life, death, identity and belief.
