College Lake Nature Reserve

College Lake Nature Reserve

A truly memorable wildlife experience for all the family. A former chalk quarry, near Tring in Buckinghamshire, College Lake reserve has been transformed into a thriving centre for wildlife by the Berks Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust and supports more than 1,000 species. It boasts panoramic views of the surrounding farmland and Chiltern hills and has become a haven for many migrating birds.

There is a visitor centre, farming museum and numerous bird hides. There are waymarked trails around the lakes with spectacular views. There is also an easy access trail.

The Reserve is especially good for waterbirds, orchids and butterflies.
