Hartslock Nature Reserve
Chalk grassland site rising up from the Thames, offering wonderful views over the Thames Valley. This area is nationally important for the conservation of flowers and insects. The flowers provide a riot of colour in spring and early summer. Orchids, butterflies and moths are abundant and red kites can be seen soaring overhead.
The Views of the Thames circular walk from Goring and the Whitchurch-on-Thames circular walk both pass Hartslock Nature Reserve.
