Our Annual Review 2025/26: Working together for a thriving Chilterns

We’re pleased to share our Annual Review, reflecting on a year of hard work, partnership, and positive action across the Chilterns National Landscape.

From restoring habitats and chalk streams to improving access to the countryside and supporting sustainable farming, the review highlights the work taking place across the Chilterns to conserve and enhance this special landscape. It’s a look at what we’ve achieved together, and the difference that work is making for nature and for the people who live in, work in and visit the area.

The Chilterns faces real challenges, from the loss of wildlife and impacts of climate change. Our work is helping to address these pressures, restore nature and build a more resilient landscape for the future.

None of this happens in isolation. Our work depends on the commitment and expertise of the many people and organisations who share our ambition for the Chilterns. By working together, we can achieve far more than any of us could alone.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, knowledge and support over the past year. This review reflects a shared effort, and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together as we continue working towards a thriving Chilterns, for nature and people, now and for generations to come.
