Our new audio guide invites you on an immersive journey through some of the Chilterns most beautiful and accessible sites.

Venture through 23 outstanding countryside locations and discover the huge variety of natural landscapes home to the Chilterns. From the rolling chalk hills of Bedfordshire, through ancient beech woodlands, to peaceful riverside vistas along the Thames, the guide reveals a range of inspiring places, their heritage and the diverse wildlife they support.

The Chilterns offers a rich landscape for everyone to enjoy. The audio guide has been created to help more people explore the area with confidence, highlighting easy-access sites, terrain details and practical information on parking and facilities.

Listeners can discover welcoming spaces, neurodiverse-friendly locations, and family days out with destinations offering visitor centres, inclusive facilities and peaceful places to help everyone appreciate the Chilterns in a way that suits their needs.

The audio guide supports the Chilterns National Landscape’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion by removing barriers and creating more inclusive opportunities to experience the Chilterns.
