Parliament to debate whether to rethink HS2 on Monday 13 September
A Westminster Hall debate will be held on Monday 13 September where MPs will discuss whether to halt all HS2 works and repeal HS2 legislation.
A Westminster Hall debate is scheduled for 13 September 2021 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm, where MPs will come together to discuss whether to halt all HS2 works and repeal HS2 legislation.
The debate was prompted by the Petitions Committee when a Gov.uk petition – kick-started last year by Chris Packham – reached over 150,000 signatures.
The Chilterns Conservation Board has issued a briefing ahead of the debate to local MPs, which you can read here.
