Chilterns focus on Countryfile this weekend

Don’t miss the Chilterns on this Sunday’s episode of Countryfile!

Don’t miss this Sunday’s episode of Countryfile where Matt Baker will be staying close to home, exploring the Chilterns landscape and the people and skills that have shaped our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  In case you need more of a reason to watch, our very own Dr. Wendy Morrison, Project Manager of our “Beacons of the Past” team will be talking Chilterns Hillforts, citizen science and the recent LiDAR project, revealing some hidden historical gems.

You can find out more about our citizen science work, or if you missed it there’s an opportunity to catch up on our autumn conference celebrating citizen scientists, with a keynote speech by Chris Packham.

Countryfile airs on BBC One this Sunday 24th January at 7pm.
